Richard, thank you for the kind words! The biggest tip I can give someone taking fly fishing images is not proper camera set up, but to have the proper mind set. You need to be willing to take pictures a minimum of 50% of the time, and fish the other 50%. The images you see in magazines are from photographers who go on picture trips, not fishing trips. For this last post, I took 122 pictures, with only 7 making it on the blog. You need to be willing to set the rod against a tree and start walking around while someone else is fishing. Give them the honey hole and enjoy watching them catch fish, through your lens.

Great photos from what looks like an enjoyable trip, some really beautiful fish!. Thanks for the comment, I'm motivated to continue now that I see what is possible. Hopefully a final version won't be too far away.
